Sniper Elite: Resistance: Mission 8, End of the Line Collectibles

This guide is for Mission 8: End of the Line, of Sniper Elite: Resistance, the newest entry into the famous sniping franchise. Taking place at the same time as the events of Sniper Elite 5, you play the role of Captain Harry Hawker, a British sniper who’s working with the French resistance to stop the latest Nazi Wunderwaffe.

Throughout the games campaign, you’ll collect a range of collectibles to upgrade your weapons. There’s also lore, intel, and extra story beats to find in the game. Not to mention the new ‘propaganda missions’ which present you with extra missions.

Collectible types

For completionists and achievement / trophy hunters, there’s plenty to go at, with 135 collectibles spread across eight of the nine missions in the game. These include:

  • Personal letters – open envelopes with letters that are scattered throughout the levels, sometimes these are mission related. You’ll unlock the “Pen Pal” achievement for finding 35 of these.
  • Classified documents – usually blue documents with the Eagle emblem emblazoned on it, sometimes these are mission related. You’ll unlock the “Top Secret” achievement for finding 35 of these.
  • Hidden items – different collectibles that can be mission related (propaganda posters count as a hidden item). You’ll unlock the “Treasure Hunter” achievement for finding 22 of these.
  • Dead-eye targets – these are stone eagle statues that sit in different places across the levels, shoot them down. You’ll unlock the “Spread Your Wings” achievement for destroying 21 of these.
  • Workbenches – finding them gives you new customisation options for your weapons. Use them to tinker and upgrade your loadout. You’ll unlock the “Innovator” achievement for finding 22 of these.
  • Propaganda posters – find these to unlock a new propaganda mission to tackle from the main menu.
  • Kill List Targets (not a collectible but there are further unlocks to be had) – these are high value targets on the map. Killing them with a specific method or weapon will grant you a new unlock. You’ll need the extra weapons to unlock the “Master at Arms” achievement for becoming the master of each weapon.

Propaganda Poster – “Pour une France Libre” (3 / 3)

In the big building that is front of you as you start the mission. It has a stone eagle on top of it. Go in the building and head to the back left. Go up some metal stairs. The poster is on an external wall that faces towards the location of the “Kill List” target (red objective marker).

Dead-Eye Targets

You’re looking for the white eagle icons on the image below.

Stone Eagle (1 / 3)

From the start of the level, look to the big building in front of you. The eagle is on the far back left (from where you are) corner. It’s in front of something that will likely obscure your view of it slightly.

Stone Eagle (2 / 3)

Look up and to the right form the first eagle. It’s much further back, and sat in front of a floodlight towards the back.

Stone Eagle (3 /3)

At the back of the map, the stone eagle is on the back upper left wall, on a broken part.

Workbenches

You must interact with the workbenches for them to count as collected.

Workbench (1 / 3)

Back right of the map in the blue side mission area. House slightly in from the edge of the map. You have to climb some vines to the floor above to get in.

Workbench (2 / 3)

In the central Blockhaus building, where the central Zugwerfer (main objective) is. Top right of the building is an armory (key is on the guard in the central upper control room). Workbench is in there, next to a classified document.

Workbench (3 /3)

To the left of the map, just above the left Zugwerfer (main objective). It’s in a warehouse, on the top floor on a desk. It’s in the same long hall as a classified document.

The white cogs are where they are on the map below.
