One of gaming’s surprise successes of the last few years has been PowerWash Simulator and its sequel, PowerWash Simulator 2. The relaxing simulators task players with spraying off all kinds of dirt and muck from objects to achieve total cleanliness. What is satisfying and therapeutic in real life, is clearly as much so for gamers as over 17 million have played the original.
Perhaps as surprising as the game’s success is its choice of wild pop culture DLC crossovers, which across the original and sequel have included Shrek, Final Fantasy VII, Tomb Raider and much more.
Developer FuturLab have now confirmed the latest surprise crossover is going to be very pink, as new Barbie content comes to PowerWash Simulator 2 this December.
in the new DLC, players will be able to “make the DreamHouse sparkle” and clean up the island of Malibu including Barbie’s pink car, plane and camper van. The DLC will also include Barbie cosmetic items for players to don as they spray away the grime from the legendary doll’s items. The Barbie DLC will be on priced at $7.99 USD / £6.50 / €7.99.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is a worthy successor to the original that we loved in our review late last year. The new Barbie content joins other worthy DLCs for the title which we too gave glowing reviews to, including Star Wars and Cartoon Network’s, Adventure Time.
PowerWash Simulator 2 is now available for XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.
