In this guide we will show you how to solve the third and final Trial in The Alighieri Circle: Dante’s Bloodline. This supernatural horror walking simulator takes place across an opulent manor and hellish space, the Dive.
During this Trial you can also find the ‘Missing Piece’ which will award you ‘The Missing Piece’ achievement or trophy. Please note, if you have completed the game you will need a full replay to find the Missing Piece. If you’re looking for other collectibles, be sure to see our guides in the footer bellow.
Third Trial and The Missing Piece
The third and final Trial takes place at the very end of the game, during Chapter 3. At the very end of the Chapter, you will pass through various sections before reaching a room with a ring of candles in the centre. This is where the loop trial Trial begins and you can locate the game’s final collectible, The Missing Piece.
Chapter 3
Through natural progression, you will reach the space in the below image with the candles in the centre. The candles aren’t actually part of the puzzle as you would think. Rather, they are there for you to track which doors you have tried yourself when attempting to solve the puzzle. You do not need to do anything with the candles to solve the Trial, you solely need to progress through the correct doors:
In each room, you will see an image on some banners in front of you. If you have found a new banner, you have successfully made it to the next room. If you find a banner you have already seen, you have gone through the wrong door. Anyway, here is the full solution to help you get through the maze – note, pause at the sword to find the Missing Piece (more below):
Hourglass – right door
Hands – left door
Serpent and cane – door ahead
Flower – behind door
Arrows and Snake – left door
Sword with string – Pause here to find the Missing Piece! Once you’re in the room, immediately turn left to find a chess piece on the shelf. Be sure to pick it up:
Once you’ve got the collectible, take the right door
Key – door ahead
Cat – right door
Harp – right door
Once you have made it through the maze you will be almost complete with the game. And with that, you’ll have your achievements and trophies. Congratulations!
