Back in July, Square Enix announced the FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM – Memories of Phantomlight as part of the Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary, with a selection of commemorative items revealed just a few weeks later. Now the full merch lineup has been revealed!
This is one of the many things that the publisher has announced for FFX’s anniversary, which also includes a pop-up shop, several clothing collaborations, and the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
The official website for the event, which is being held from September 12th to the 27th in Tokyo, Japan, has been updated with various pieces of information, including exhibition details, ticket information, and commemorative merchandise.
Below are the remaining pieces of commemorative merch that have been revealed (Note: All images are samples and may not represent the final product):
First, we have a pair of black T-shirts with two different designs depicting FFX’s summons, or Aeons. Choose between one of the most iconic of the Final Fantasy series, Bahamut, or arguably the most memorable summon from FFX, Anima. Both are made with 100% cotton, come in sizes M, L, and XL, and will cost 5,500 yen each.
There is a third T-shirt, but this one is in white and depicts a row of Cactuars, one of the FF series’ most recognisable enemies and mascots, over the word “sabotender…?”. It is also made with 100% cotton, comes in M, L, and XL sizes, and will cost 4,400 yen.
Keeping with the Cactuar motif, we have a handkerchief covered in various-sized Cactuars and the word “Sabotender…?”. It is a blend of cotton and polyester, measures 25cm x 25cm, and will cost 900 yen.
Next up is a selection of sphere magnets, each depicting important moments from Final Fantasy X’s story cinematics. They have an approximate diameter of 3.9cm and will cost 880 yen each.
We are getting more keychains, sporting quotes from Tidus, Yuna, Auron, Kimahri, Rikku, and Jecht written in Japanese. They are made of acrylic and will cost 880 yen each.
There are two postcard sets: the first comprises ten postcards with stills from various cinematics, and the second set has eight postcards that appear to show FFX’s Aeons. Each set will cost 1,650 yen.
Our highlight from this new batch of commemorative merch is this rather stylish glass decorated with a silhouette of the Zanarkand vista, along with Tidus and Yuna’s weapons. The glass measures 8.7cm tall with a rim diameter of 7.5cm, is not microwave or dishwasher safe, and will cost 1,650 yen.
A set of two acrylic hair clips, one with the Zanarkand Abes Blitzball team logo and the other with Yuna’s hibiscus flower design, will also be available. They measure approximately 4.7cm x 4cm and will cost 1,100 yen.
Next are two sets of flake seal stickers: the first contains the full Spira (Final Fantasy X’s world) alphabet, and the second contains the Yevon script (symbols used in Spira’s religion). There are 52 stickers in each set, all measuring approximately 2cm x 3cm, and they will cost 880 yen per set.
Lastly, we have a new set of seven acrylic blocks, one for each member of the main cast/party, with their character portrait and name in English. Each block measures 10cm x 6cm and will cost 1,100 yen.
This completes the range of commemorative merchandise that will be available at the FINAL FANTASY X MUSEUM – Memories of Phantomlight exhibition, which runs from September 12th to 27th in Tokyo, Japan.
