Deer & Boy is a beautiful and moving cinematic platformer about a boy and a deer and the bond they form; a story told with no dialogue. With light stealth and puzzle gameplay, Deer & Boy is a short game that isn’t too challenging, but it does have several non-story-related trophies/achievements to unlock. So here is our Close Call! trophy/achievement guide for Deer & Boy.

Close Call! Trophy Guide
The Close Call! trophy/achievement is unlocked by outrunning the wolves without getting caught once. You reach this sequence in Chapter 36, but you need to go through Chapter 35 to start it from the beginning. Don’t worry, doesn’t take long to get to the chase. You will need to redo both chapters if you need to try again.

You’ll get the cutscene showing the corrupted wolves surrounding the Deer and Boy, and then immediately start running to the right to slide down some snow. keep running to the right, climbing over logs, and jumping over crevices.

When you reach the next slide, jump to the wooden platform to avoid the wolf below and sidle past the boxes. Jump the gap and climb down a ledge marked with orange and go under the wooden planks to your right.

Interact with the lever to let the barrel roll down the hill and stop the wolf behind you, and be ready to quickly jump up to the wooden platform again, and then to your right to avoid the other wolf.

Jump across the last snowy platforms and watch the dramatic leap cutscene. Once you are on the other side, walking against the blizzard, the Close Call! trophy/achievement will pop.
