Sony is adding another batch of games to the Extra and Premium tiers of their PlayStation Plus subscription service for June 2026, and it looks to be an exercise in quality over quantity. Announced on the PlayStation Blog website, the titles are planned to be released between June 10th and June 30th.
Here is what is coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers for June, 2026.
PS Plus Extra Games
- Sonic X Shadow Generations – PS5, PS4 – June 10th
- Final Fantasy XVI – PS5 – June 16th
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance – PS5, PS4 – June 23rd
- Life is Strange: Double Exposure – PS5 – June 23rd
- Farming Simulator 25 – PS5 – June 30th
- Blades of Fire – PS5 – June 30th
- Black Desert – PS5 – June 30th
PS Plus Extra subscribers are eating good this month, with several high-profile titles across various genres. Kicking it all off is Final Fantasy XVI, the most recent entry in the iconic series of JRPGs, and the first to feature an action-based combat system. Play as Clive Rosfield and explore the diverse land of Valisthea, with kingdoms built at the foot of giant crystals, and where god-like Eikons are wielded like weapons of war.
If we are talking icons, there are few in video games more iconic than Sonic the Hedgehog, who races onto PS Plus in a head-to-head with his dark and edgy doppleganger in Sonic X Shadow Generations. Perhaps now is the time to see the beginning of Henry of Skalitz’s journey in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and get lost in a world of medieval realism.
It doesn’t stop there, with Life Is Strange: Double Exposure arriving the same day as KC:D, and Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert, the MMO from the developers of Crimson Desert, all being added to PS Plus Extra on June 30th.
PS Plus Premium Games
- Gitaroo Man – PS5, PS4 – June 16th
We may have jumped the gun on the whole “icon” thing, since Gitaroo Man is coming to the Premium tier of PlayStation Plus! As U-1, fight your way through enemies with the mythical instrument-turned-weapon, the Gitaroo, and gain confidence in your abilities in this heartwarming, rock’n’roll journey.
