New reveals, new gameplay trailers, and news around launch dates for games. Last year, we got our first look at Fading Echo at the 2025 FGS Summer Showcase. This year’s FGS Summer Showcase – gameplay!

Fading Echo, coming to us from Emeteria, with publishing being handled by New Tales and Com2uS Holdings, is an action-adventure brawler title launching on July 21st of this year. Previously, we have only had a few snippets of pre-rendered video. But now, we have some more footage for the beta version of this upcoming title.

The combat looks incredibly fluid (some pun intended) and seems to really rely on the protagonist’s liquid make-up as a component of the fighting itself.

Background on Fading Echo

Fading Echo, per their Steam page, follows the story of One. A Legend who is seeking to save a dying desertscape from the grips of corruption at the hands of the Paradox. As One, you’ll need to use your abilities to manipulate what water you can find in the world, along with triggering chains and shifting between different worlds to succeed on your mission.

Fading Echo is set to launch on both PC, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, just over a month from now. Even if this one doesn’t come across my desk for review, I can guarantee that I will be picking this one up to try my hands at later this summer.
