The summer gaming season is rapidly approaching. With a series of showcases planned for June including the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase, Summer Games Fest and the next Future Games Show, there will be plenty of reveals in the months ahead.

Though all the showcases are exciting, gamers often want to get hands-on with the latest titles from across the industry. In lieu of once iconic E3, the worlds largest gaming expo is now gamescom, which takes place each August in Cologne, Germany.

With Nintendo’s mid-year lineup now confirmed to include titles like the new Star Fox remake, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book and Splatoon Raiders, they have confirmed their attendance at gamescom. All three of these titles will have been released by the time gamescom kicks off, so its likely there will be playable booths for all three. Whether a Nintendo Direct will have taken place by this time which may add more upcoming games to try, we’ll have to wait and see.
