Did you miss the Second Wind Spring Showcase? Me too! The bane of a Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM grind. Never fear though! We have you covered with a full listing of everything that got covered this past week. Included in this was a game that, despite being announced over a year ago, I’m just hearing about. The title – Map Map – A Game About Maps.
Coming to us from Pipapo Games, Map Map: A Game About Maps is an exploration game that really emphasizes the exploration aspect. You’re going to be (guess what?)…making your own maps as part of a small adventuring crew! And you’re not just going about this willy nilly. No no no! You’re going to be using the cartography tools of the trade to accurately (well, as accurately as possible) replicate each locale.

I was a Boy Scout, and let me tell you, making a map and things like orienteering are TOUGH! Or maybe I just don’t have a sense of direction? I still don’t, several decades later!
To accompany your map will be other tools of the trade, including telescopes, sextants, and your own two feet!
More on Map Map’s Release
Map Map: A Game About Maps is currently looking at a release to PC (Steam) on May 28th, 2026 (so soon!). Are you curious to get an early crack this? Well, you are in luck, my friend! There’s currently a demo available on Steam, which I’ll be taking a look at within the next week or so!
