007 First Light Rules Of Spycraft Trailer Released

007 First Light launches in a little over a month, and IO Interactive has released a video going over the rules of Spycraft, which involve everything from going in like a ghost with no one ever knowing you’re there to taking out everyone in sight. The rules of Spycraft will change based on the situation Bond finds himself in.

You can look into the rules of Spycraft yourself in the video below.

Rule #1: Blending in.

When Bond is beginning his infiltration, similar to Agent 47 in the Hitman games, he can listen in to find different information on routes he can take to achieve his goal. Given that Bond is far more sociable than 47 is, a few friends may even be picked up along the way. Once he finds a way in, James can go about it quietly to the point where he never even has to hurt his enemies, as he can bluff his way past most guards and possibly even sharper ones if he’s found the right tools for the Job. If you want to remain quiet but not peaceful, the option to quietly take down those in your path also exists.

Rule #2: Come prepared.

Should Bond find himself caught, he must be prepared to fight or shoot his way out of a situation if necessary. Thankfully for him, MI6 is there to make sure he has the tools for the job, as Q provides him with all sorts of gadgets and weapons to get himself out of any situation. From phones that launch sleeping darts to earbuds that serve as a powerful flashbang, Q will provide options that enemies will never see coming.

Rule #3: Improvise.

Should Q’s gadgets not be right for the situation, Bond has access to the ultimate tool to dispatch enemies, his environment. Anything can be a weapon if you’re creative enough, from pool balls, guard rails, electric panels, and any gun you can find, should extreme situations arise. During tense situations, your license to kill will be activated, and Bond is allowed to get the job done by any means necessary. Mix your gadgets, the environment, and deadly weapons in tandem with each other, along with Bond’s skills, such as being able to focus and slow down time to achieve desired results.

Speaking of skills, do not forget to hone them with immersive training to gain skill points, and don’t forget to upgrade the various gadgets Q provides to you.

These are the rules of Spycraft, remember them and you’ll be more than a successful agent. Pre-ordering the game will not only grant you special skins but also the Agent’s Mark pistol and the gleaming items pack, as well as a 24-hour head start on other agents.

007 First Light is set to launch on May 27th, 2026, across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series platforms, with a Switch 2 release planned later.

DeMandre "LetalisVenator" Pressley

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
