The first-person shooter detective game inspired by the comic stylings of the 1930s is finally with us and we’ve been super excited for this for a long time.
Playing as Jack Pepper, you’re exploring and sleuthing to uncover the mysteries of Mouseberg whilst trying to solve multiple mysteries that weave into a tangled web. You’ll meet many characters, listen to groovy big band jazz and puncture many a hole in many an enemy, until they’re looking like swiss cheese that just went out on a hot date with a hole punch (just like Jack Ripper).

During your adventure, you’ll encounter many enemies who need to come face-to-face with a whole load of ways to die! Many of which come with a reward in the form of an achievement / trophy.
To get the “Hole-y Trinity” achievement / trophy you’ll need to “kill 3 enemies with one shot”. Of course, there’s lots of enemies to try this on, but nailing it might be a bit tricksy.
I unlocked this in the Old Subway. You’ll pick up a ‘Little Hat’ investigation clue and then head through a door into an larger area where enemies will attack. To your right and above is a steel beam that is hanging, waiting to be shot down and dropped on an (or maybe three?!) enemies. I managed to shoot and land the beam on three enemies unlocking the achievement.
As it was the one shot that did it, it counted. I suspect the same will apply if you manage to shoot a barrel and take out three enemies. There is an upgrade you can get for the shotgun later on that allows the bullets to pierce three enemies. There’s also the Loose Cannon weapon that unlocks later and that fires cannon balls, should be able to do some multiple hits with that.
Keep an eye on enemy types too. The shorter ones usually die quicker and could be susceptible to the shoot gun / Loose Cannon approach, of course, every enemy can be squished!
