Pearl Abyss Showcases Stellar Voice Cast For Crimson Desert

We’re less than a month away from one of the year’s biggest releases in Crimson Desert and developer Pearl Abyss is tuning up the hype machine more and more. Earlier this month we saw multiple gameplay deep dives, and today the studio is showcasing its stellar voice cast that will bring the game to life.

With a game as big as Crimson Desert, there is going to be a billion different talents used in the massive world of Pywel. With that said Pearl Abyss has made sure to bring in a who’s who cast for the main characters.

  • Alec Newman (Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy XIV, Elden Ring) will do the honors for the main protagonist Kliff.
  • Steward Scuadmore (Baldur’s Gate 3, Final Fantasy XVI, Arcane) will take on the role of Oongka
  • Rebecca Hanssen (Baldur’s Gate 3, Arknights: Endfield, Wuthering Waves) takes the role of Damiane

Additionally, we will see some other familiar voices as Peter Bramhill (Yann), Emily Barber (Naira) and Alastair Parker (Myurdin) also play key roles as you explore Pywel.

The actors took viewers behind the scenes with a video during IGN Fan Fest showing a little bit about their process and how they brought each of the characters to life. If you like seeing how video games are made at all, it’s one worth checking out.

Luckily for all us gamers we won’t have to wait too much longer to hear these iconic voices take over our screen. Crimson Desert launches March 19th for PC, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.
