The Field Puzzle: The Premise
Welcome to another quick guide for Silent Hill f. Today, we’ll be talking about the infamous Field puzzle, one of the most unsettling and eerie challenges that the game has to offer. After meeting back up with your friends, the player is teleported to a strange field coated in a veil of fog with creepy enemies seemingly frozen in place.
As with most of the puzzles in this game, the devil is in the details of each of the five areas you have to navigate to, so I’m here to help you find your way through this nightmare. The key is the prompts, and the mannequins themselves are a reflection of your friends. If you happen to choose the wrong one by accident, they will come alive and attack you, so make sure you’re paying attention.
Remember, once you select the right one, make sure to follow in the general direction they point towards to find the next area. There are 5 areas in total with different prompts for each.
The First Test: A Polite Smile
Back left one with a smile on her face, and a frowning mask on the back of her head.
The Second Test: Deception
In the middle, with her arms down in front of her, and a sickle in her back.
The Third Test: Jealousy
The one that none of the others are looking at.
The Fourth Test: Eyesore
The one with a frown on her face.
The Fifth Test: Disgust
In the middle of the group, with her arms set like a cross, and a sickle in her back.
