Killing Floor III Year 1 Roadmap Revealed

Today Killing Floor III finally releases to the world after several delays. The game releases on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation and you can read our review here.

Ahead of the release, development studio Tripwire are keen to let early adopters know that there will be a wealth of content on the horizon for the game including free updates and content, starting later this year.

The Killing Floor III Year 1 Roadmap starts with the Rearmament Update which includes the following weapons to blast away those Zeds:

  • M14 EBR Mod 0 (with 4 new mods)
  • MKR-350 Assault Rifle (with 4 new mods)
  • Streik Dual Defender Shotgun (with 3 new mods)

Then during Season 2, players will have access to a new specialist, a new map, weapons and more.

In 2026 an additional new map, more new weapons and a new perk will launch across Seasons 3 and 4. The developers have promised that they’ll “be sharing more details and sneak peaks at many of these items as we get closer to them landing in player hands.”

The studio are also working to offer quality of life improvements to the game including text chat, new difficulty settings and modding. There are already some known performance issues with the game, Tripwire have published some possible solutions on their support pages.
