Unlock the “Our Island Gnome” achievement / trophy in Atomfall.

Atomfall is the latest and newest game from the developers of Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, Rebellion. Their latest title is a first-person survival mystery game, where you must figure out what’s going on in the Quarantine Zone in Windscale.

You must unravel the mystery, escape the Quarantine Zone, and try to survive, and there are plenty of excellent ways to do that in the game that will earn you tasty achievements / trophies (if you’re so inclined).

Now, with the recent release of the Wicked Isle DLC, we are heading back to Wyndham to uncover more mysteries.

“Our Island Gnome” Achievement / Trophy

The “Our Island Gnome” achievement / trophy tasks you with finding and smashing 15 Gnomes that are scattered across Midsummer Isle (the Wicked Isle). These are found scattered around the island.

The gnomes themselves are pretty easy to spot; they’ve got red hats, a blue outfit, and a big white beard. They’re also holding a carrot and a blue mug with the Union Jack on it!

Once you spot the cheeky chappy, head up to him and smash him in whatever way you see fit.

Once you’ve smashed 15, bravo, the achievement is yours!

Locations

I’ve listed them in the order I found them, not necessarily the best order to find them. They are all located on Midsummer Isle (the DLC area).

The first one you should find is not long after you get off the boat. He’s chilling the in big red phonebox, pretty hard to miss.

2. On the coast, just past the Abandoned Village. There’s a small house looking out on the water. The gnome is on some crates just at the entrance.

3. Following the southern coast round. You’ll reach a small island with a boat that’s run aground. The gnome is looking out on the water near the front of the boat.

4. Near the main objective location, where to you meet Bill Anderson. The gnome is sat on a tree stump.

5. North of the Abandoned Village, overlooking a small lake / pond. Sat on the post of a wooden pier.

6. Continue north and head to the stone tower, northwest. Climb the stairs and go round the outside of the upper level. The gnome is sitting on a balcony.

7. Not long after you defeat the Beekeeper enemy (you’ll know which one, he has bees). Head north to the upper area from the Orchard. The gnome is sat next to a small wooden text to the back right of the area, behind a stone building.

8. On the outskirts of the Abbot’s House, the gnome is chilling on a bench in a small graveyard area. Watch out for the traps.

9. Taking in the scenery, on a bench. As you head towards the most northern part of the map. Before you cross the water.

10. Next to the Lake Bandit Den entrance. On the right as if you’re looking at the entrance. The northernmost, area of the map. He’s on a pallet next to a radio.

11. If you explore the back and outside area of the Lake Bandit Den, you’ll head upwards to a rooftop area where you will fight several Thrall. At the back of that area are some stairs that lead down to an entrance to an indoor lab area. The gnome is before you climb down the ladders to that.

12. Returning to the main island from the Lake Bandit’s Den, you’ll spot a cove to the left. You access this by going in the water. As you enter (watch for the eels), you’ll spot two barrels on the left, the gnome is sitting between them.

13. In the graveyard in the Abandoned Village. He’s sat on a large headstone.

14. Head east of the island. In a house near the coast, sitting in a window sill.

15. This one was super sneaky. The Abbey, where the crypt of the main story is. If you head into the main area where a Druid enemy is worshipping at an altar. Looking at that altar, turn around and head forward and slightly to the left. There’s a small space to squeeze into. The gnome is sitting on the floor next to some stairs that go down to a wicker basket.
