Herdling Launches Summer 2025, Demo Available Now

At today’s summer Future Games Show we were treated to a new look at herding adventure game, Herdling as well as the reveal of the launch window.

In Herdling, you will guide a herd of mysterious creatures on a journey through the mountains and beyond. Herdling is developed by the Okomotive, the developers of the acclaimed FAR games. I was fortunate enough to play try Herdling at London Games Festival earlier this year and was impressed at the controls and visual style of the innovative title.

The game will launch later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). A Steam demo is now available for the game.

Herdling Future Games Show trailer

In the latest trailer we see some of the stunning environments we will herd animals across in Herdling, including mountainous regions, forests and wide-spanning steppe-like biomes.

We get a closer look at some of the loveable beasts we will take on our adventure including how we will interact with them on the way.

What the game has in store for our protagonist herder and their animals on their journey will all be revealed within the next few months.

Herdling will release later this summer on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. What’s your thoughts on the latest trailer? Let us know in the comments below and stick with GSC for more coverage on Herdling and the Future Games Show.
