Devolver Digital’s digital showcase this year was focussed on one game, and one game only, Ball X Pit.
A truly Devolver Digital style showcase, the 10 minute presentation tells the story of Kenny Sun. An aspiring developer who dreamed of making this game.

Ball X Pit is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where your heroes will descent into a endless pit of monsters. You must do this to rebuild Ballbylon (lol). Your heroes will be armed with a range of magic-infused projectiles to take down the enemies.
Features of Ball X Pit
- Fuse your balls – you can experiment with 60 different balls. Equip and combine them to create 100s of different outcomes.
- Build New Ballbylon – you will rebuild Ballbylon with over 70 unique buildings that give you bonuses, power-ups, and new characters.
- Discover new realms – the game will take you through deserts, frozen caverns, savage forests and more. Each area brings new challenges.
- Recruit fellow hunters – as you explore, you’ll come across treasure hunters whose skills you can make use of on your expeditions.
