If you’re looking for what games are releasing in April 2025, we’ve got you covered. Weekly Game Launch is your summary of what games to expect this week. So let’s see what the first week has in store for us.

And almost as if to make up for the quieter release week last week, there are probably close to 40 games releasing that we can see!!!

7 April 2025

7 April – Cursed Dawn (PC)

A small, relaxing, incremental game about restoring a barren wasteland into a lush meadow. Help the magical wolf Lyca run through the land, gather resources, and unlock a vast upgrade tree.

8 April – Battlefield Waltz (Switch)

Meet Lan, The Maiden of the Cursed Sword, as she trains in combat alongside elite warriors and compassionate lovers. Upon facing tragedy, Lan is both blessed and cursed by a new power-the power of the Cursed Sword. She shall now forge new bonds in search of a place to belong.


8 April – Faircroft’s Antiques: The Mountaneer’s Legacy Collector’s Edition (Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch

8 April – Ixion (PS5, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

Ixion is a city-builder that requires you to be vigilant, to constantly assess and reassess, to learn and adapt. If you and your crew are to endure, you must confront the perils of space, while at the same time uncovering its secrets and extracting its resources.


8 April – South of Midnight (PC, Xbox Series)

outh of Midnight is a new action-adventure from Compulsion Games. Learn an ancient weaving power, explore the Deep South mythos and confront mysterious creatures in this folktale for modern times.


8 April – Tiny Garden (PC)

Tiny Garden lets you grow a pocket-sized garden inside a magical toy passed down through generations. Nurture plants, trade them for furniture, and customize your space in this relaxing mix of farming, puzzles, and strategy. No scores or time limits "” let your creativity bloom!

9 April – All in Abyss: Judge the Fake (PC, PS5, Switch)

Either I die, or the Witches perish. I challenge thee to a deathmatch!" Asuha, a self-proclaimed gambling prodigy, challenges the Witch ruling the gambling district. Poised to win, she is defeated by a mysterious power. An adventure of gambling, exposing frauds and earning fortunes through poker.


9 April – Anima Flux (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

Anima Flux is a co-op metroidvania with two genetically enhanced soldiers, special agents of a theocratic dictatorial regime. Fight your way through swarms of mutants through a desolate, dystopian space city and save humanity’s last stronghold, if, of course, anyone is still alive…


9 April – Asgard’s Fall – Viking Survivors (PC)

Embark on an epic saga in Asgard’s Fall, a Norse Survivors-like Roguelite. Fight your way through hordes of creatures and let the gods feel your relentless wrath. How will your saga unfold?


9 April – Commandos: Origins (PC, PS5, Xbox Series)

9 April – Secrets in Green (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series)

Following an unfortunate episode of mental illness, Alma is sent to a cottage in the countryside, where she finds peace tending to the overgrown garden. Steel Seed is a single-player stealth-action adventure game set in a dark sci-fi world. In her epic journey inside a hostile underground facility run by AIs, Zoe is alone with Koby, a flying drone, as her only companion.


10 April – The Sekimeiya: Spun Glass (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series) – already available on PC

In the rural town of Yushibana, the Ashiya family holds much of the wealth. After they discover a rare gemstone, a showing is scheduled in Ashiya Tower, drawing the attention of many of the townspeople.
