This enemy is terrifying, because if you are like me, I basically got eaten in 5 seconds of starting the fight. Let’s get you through this without getting eaten!

Let’s equip Bronze Brocade armor because we have such a small window to do damage, we are going to rely on immobilizing the dragon. I’m taking in wandering wight because that’s my go to damage buster.

What to expect:

The dragon will come in charging to catch you by it’s mouth and do 100% of your health. The dragon will roar and start flailing towards you with its head glowing blue, you will have a small window to dodge at the last second.

Now when both fists glow, expect it to speed past you hitting you with all four arms, then with its tail when it’s past you. Dodge, dodge, dodge, and then maybe another dodge? Just for safe measure.

When you see it’s right arm glow blue, prepare for a bolt to fling at you. Now if you see it raise it hand, dodge away from it and prepare to dodge the left arm for a follow up attack.

When it starts a whirlwind, you don’t want to be anywhere near it.

You will reach a point later on in the fight when lightning bolts will come out of the sky. Stay calm and hold still. The floor around you will glow blue, then dodge. Rinse repeat. Be careful, the dragon is gonna swing in to try and eat you again.

Tips:

There are only two moments when you can attack. The first is when the dragon slaps it’s tail down, it gets stuck in the ice. Hurry, because it gets up fast. There other is blatantly obvious, after attacking you some, the dragon will get it’s head right up in your face. Punch that SoB.

Don’t forget to immobilize the dragon in those moments. Attacks. It’s really important to know that you can stun the dragon at any moment and it will fall from the sky with your vessel.

This is a dodging boss. Don’t stress about getting hits in, stress about all the different moves you got to dodge. Go in expecting to die, simply dodge attacks for as long as you can to study those attacks and get used to its attack patterns.
