Falconeer Developer Announces New Game; Ancient Waves

Falconeer Developer Tomas Sala is a busy man. His newest game Bulwark:Falconeer Chronicles releases tomorrow and today he has announced that the Falconeer Chronicles is a trilogy.

In an interview with PCGamesn Tomas unveils the third game(Project: Ancient Waves) will be much different from the first two games. The original game was an open world aerial combat game, while Bulwark is a sprawling city builder. With Ancient Waves he is planning on taking the franchise down to a more human level(based on the name and setting I’m guessing a naval based adventure).

“I like the idea of the smallest roles and actors in a grand set of events, the next game will be an attempt to take the perspective on this world down to a human scale”

“At the moment, the topic I’m most interested in is how small acts of resistance can alter larger events. The world of the Ursee likely wasn’t a giant ocean, there are stories there involving some of the machinery and sci-fi elements of the Falconeer and Bulwark, and the shaping of this bleak place.”

While the game is likely a ways out we can’t wait to see what Tomas cooks up next in his already gorgeous world.
