A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead’s Monsters Will Hear You In Real Life

The A Quiet Place franchise is set to make its video game debut and publisher Saber Interactive and developer Stormind Games are doing everything they can to live up to the titles moniker as even your own place will need to be dead quiet thank to the new “Microphone Noise Detection” feature.

This newly announced optional feature, the microphone noise detection will allow the monsters in the game to hear you and detect you should you speak or make a noise into your microphone. It is certainly one of the more unique features seen in a video game and very fitting for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.

It will be quite interesting to see how accurate and effective the feature is and just how sensitive it really is. Will it pick up even your breathing and whispering or only when your dog barks or you speak loudly? Either way you will want to hold your screams in should you get scared while playing.

Make a sound and this guy will rip your head off

While A Quiet Place: The Road ahead is set in the Quiet Place world it is a completely new story rather than adopting the films storylines. With A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead launching October 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Steam, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
