Baldurs Gate 3 developer Larian Studios continues to improve on last years game of the year as they have just launched Patch 7 with a slew of additions and fixes that fans have been clamouring for.
The update, which went live today on PC and is coming to console and Mac in October is one of the biggest updates to Baldurs Gate 3 yet including brand-new Evil Endings, revamped split-screen gameplay, and Larian's very own official modding toolkit.

These features include:
- New ‘Evil Endings’: Brand-new cinematic endings for your most villainous playthroughs, as well as unique endings if playing an Origin Character.
- Our Very Own Mod Manager: Browse, install, and use mods created by the community!
- Revamped Split-Screen Gameplay: Dynamic split-screen is now available for multiplayer! When playing split-screen, each side will merge when you near each other and split back up as you head off on your own adventures.
The modding tool will likely be of interest to most gamers on PC. The kit had been in a beta and is now officially launching. Players will be able to access many new mods within the game as well as be able to create some of their own. You can find a Q&A to the modding toolkit here.
Patch 7 also adds improvements to Honour Mode, including new Legendary Actions, as well as numerous bug fixes for Origin Character and Dark Urge playthroughs.
