Forza Horizon 5 Races To 40 Million Players

In a week of big player count numbers we may have gotten the biggest numbers yet thanks to Forza Horizon 5.

The dust cloud of 40 million players rolling in

While this isn’t official from Xbox we now know Forza Horizon 5 has hit a staggering 40 million players thanks to the in-game leaderboard. As first mentioned by X user SnapBlastPlay, when you check the leaderboards of the name to see where you stand it will show your position “of 40,000,000”.

The debate will always rage on about how much player count matters, but no matter how you slice it 40 million players for the racing game is huge. To put the number into perspective their are 34 million Xbox Game Pass Subscribers.

The Forza Horizon series has long been one of Xbox’s biggest titles, both critically and player count/sales wise. With Forza Horizon 5 being almost 3 years old now you will have to wonder how much longer until we see Forza Horizon 6.

Congrats to Xbox and Playground games on this huge milestone.
