Perhaps not as big of a reveal as 2K would have liked, but Civilization VII has officially been announced at Summer Game Fest 2024. This follows rumours and a potential leak of the reveal earlier today.
The next iteration in the series will be releasing on PC and consoles in 2025. A full reveal will be taking place in August.
Many were expecting a Borderlands / Bioshock 4 reveal as rumours swirled that the publisher will be revealing a new entry to one of it’s “most beloved franchises”. In fairness, Civ is a great series, and it awesome to see it return.
