Oh my word! Bandai Namco has just revealed a story trailer for it’s upcoming DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, and it’s a doozy!

The trailer sets up what stories we might expect to hear about regarding Miquella, Messmer the Impaler (the badass looking character from the collector’s edition) and the history of the Realm of Shadow, the unseen land.

Now, I can’t claim to understand all of the lore surrounding Elden Ring (or many Souls games), but I do love finding out about snippets of it all (don’t talk to me about Sif), even if it doesn’t all make sense. Regardless, the vibes on this one go hard, so of the set pieces, the cinematics are just off the scale, I hope we get to explore some of these memories, ala Dark Souls 2.

We’re only one month away from the release of the DLC to one of the biggest games of 2022 (ever?!). Will you be checking out Shadow of the Erdtree when it launches next month?
