Indie publisher, Pantaloon has announced and launched a platform titled ‘Playbill‘ which it claims will feature “an evolving library of bold and bizarre games accessed via subscription.” The publisher, which is responsible for releasing titles such as OFFBEAT and It Takes a War, claims that the platform is not a Game Pass-like or bundle, but a rotating library of games from various independent developers and publishers.
Playbill is available now and offers a single ‘Primo’ subscription tier featuring fourteen titles including all of Pantaloon’s own back-catalogue, Buckshot Roulette from publisher DreadXP, The Cabin Factory from Future Friends Games, and more. Subscribers can also access ‘The Green Room’, a selection of in-development games, playtests, and demos. For now this only includes the playtest for Fireshrine Games and Pocketpair Publishing’s Isle Goblin.

Non-subscribers can access a small collection of free titles including a newly announced prologue to Devolver Digital, Destructeam, and Selkie Harbour’s upcoming narrative game Virtue and a Sledgehammer, which is set to release next week on October 27. Virtue: Prologue is a standalone game created by visual novel developer Juno Menager and is a timed-exclusive for the service.
Playbill is a key-based subscription service, and Pantaloon states in its FAQ that titles will be removed from the service once they have exhausted all of the available keys. Subscribers are guaranteed at least one new game a month, with all of Pantaloon’s published titles arriving day one, “or thereabouts”. The subscription’s price is USD $4.99 per month, or $49.99 per year.
The publisher has also confirmed that Playbill does not feature games that use generative AI.
