Buckshot Roulette Crosses 1 Million Copies Sold on Steam

Critical Reflex and developer Mike Klubnika proudly shared that the viral horror hit had crossed 1 million units sold in just over a week from its Steam launch.

To celebrate the team released an all-new trailer for the milestone.

Buckshot Roulette is a Russian roulette style game with a 12-gauge shotgun in which players dive into a gritty underworld nightclub and face off against The Dealer.

“Brace yourself as you pull the trigger. Load the chamber, press your luck, double down. There’s no prize for second place,” they stated in their release.

The game’s expanded Steam release brought additional languages, new items, gamepad support and Steam achievements.  In the coming months Steam trading cards, community items and more will be added to the game.

The team also plans to release Buckshot Roulette on consoles and introduce the highly anticipated multiplayer game mode.

The game is developed by Mike Klubnika, an independent game developer based in Estonia with a knack for sci-fi horror. Mike has spent much of their time developing horror games that take place in alternate dystopias, attempting to immerse players in handcrafted industrial environments through detailed mechanics and visual storytelling.

Buckshot Roulette is published by Critical Relex who state they are “an indie game publishing label on a mission: find kick-ass games, make sure they’re at their best upon release, and put them in front of as many gaming fans as possible.”. Buckshot Roulette is available now on Steam.
