Gears Of War: E-Day Gets Patch Ahead Of Global Release

While many have already been enjoying Gears Of War: E-Day thanks to the premium upgrade, the rest of the world are getting ready for the game’s official release tomorrow. Ahead of tomorrow’s release The Coalition has released a new patch will fix various issues.

As far as patches go this one is a relatively small patch. The patch mostly focuses on some minor performance issues and bugs. The biggest bugs here would be when certain side objectives would get stuck or not show up, as well as the versus bomb getting stuck in Demolition if a player is killed while defusing it.

The size of this patch just goes to show the quality of E-Day as far too often we see day 1 patch notes a mile long. Gears of War: E-Day has been receiving high praise from critics and players alike during its early access release.

In fact Gears Of War: E-Day is doing so well with critics it may be the first time we’ve been an Xbox published game be nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards. There’s still some time, but it is one of the highest rated games of the year.

What is that thing!?! Players will find out soon enough

In our review we agreed giving it a 9.5 saying “E-Day succeeds in telling the story of Emergence Day in a gripping, desperate, and most importantly, fun way. The culmination of 20 years as a franchise, refining everything the series is into a must-play XBOX title that takes you on a gloriously brutal, emotionally-satisfying, and epic, cinematic adventure.”

You can see the full patch notes below. See you out there Gears.
