PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to a fresh trio of games to add to their digital libraries this October, with one title in particular feeling very suitable for the spooky season!
Announced via the PlayStation Blog, the three titles for October 2026 are:
- Hunt: Showdown 1896 – PS5
- F1 25 – PS5
- Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 – PS5/PS4
All three games will be available to download from October 6th to November 2nd.
Hunt: Showdown 1896
Explore the dark backwaters solo or with friends as you hunt down horrifying monsters and send them back to hell, avoiding or facing off against other Hunters as you fight over targets and extract with your bounty. Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a tough-as-nails PvPvE extraction shooter, where the world is just as dangerous as the quarry you seek. Recruit a roster of Hunters, from gunslingers to fanatics, and arm them to the teeth with an arsenal of firearms and melee weapons, with hundreds of unlocks and customisations to select and hunt your way.
F1 25
Get ready for some high-octane racing action with F1 25, the latest entry in EA’s Grand Prix racing series, with new teams, drivers, cars, and tracks to try. Completely immerse yourself in My Team 2.0, where you manage your own Formula 1 team, build out the new Owner Perk System, and then get behind the wheel as one of your two drivers on race weekends. With new co-op events, full cross-play, and a host of technical features, F1 25 is the definitive F1 racing experience.
Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2
Square Earth is under threat from all manner of giant threats, from ants, spiders, and bees to UFOs, robots, and even EDF soldiers! Protect our planet solo or in 4-player co-op, create your team of four soldiers from over 100 characters, and equip over 600 weapons and accessories. With over 100 missions to undertake at five difficulty levels, the work to save Square Earth is never done!
