Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, the sequel to the 2023 Team Ninja soulslike, finally has its official release date. Revealed during the 2026 Xbox showcase, the game is now confirmed to be releasing on March 4th, 2027.

The new trailer features the new protagonist you’ll play as, as well as shows off new demons to face, big new bosses, and new gameplay mechanics, such as wall running. The trailer looks to feature Cao Cao as the villain, causing more war as he invades the Jing Province where the protagonist and his friend Pang Tong call home.

Alpha Demo Available Now
Also announced during the reveal trailer was the alpha Demo, which is now available to download and try until September 30th. Players who complete the demo will unlock the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet for the full game once it is released.

Preorders Available Now

Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo also announced that the game is available to preorder. There will both be a standard edition of the game, as well as the digital deluxe edition. The digital deluxe will include the base game, the season pass, a new armor set called the Creator God Armor set, as well as digital exclusives like an art book and soundtrack.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will be available March 4th, 2027 For PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PC and Xbox Game Pass.
