Silver Lining Interactive and 11 bit studios have announced that The Alters Complete Edition, which includes the Last Variable DLC, will officially launch for PlayStation 5 on November 20th.

The Alters Complete Edition bundles the base game together with The Last Variable DLC, which adds an estimated 20 hours of gameplay set after the original ending, as well as four deluxe outfits. All of the content will be on one PS5 disc and will cost £34.99/€39.99/$39.99 at release.
In The Alters, you play as Jan Dolski, a simple, space-faring worker attempting to outrun a deadly sunrise in a massive rolling base on a deadly planet. To survive, Jan extracts the quantum element Rapidium to forge “Alters” – cloned versions of himself rooted in the life choices he never made. With all 11 versions of Jan expertly voiced by the talented Alex Jordan, and engrossing gameplay centred around your decisions and their often unforeseen circumstances, The Alters was one of our highlights from last year. The Lost Variable DLC focuses on the Jan Scientist alter, who can finally pursue his true calling (outside of just survival): research.
The Alters already has a base-game physical version that was released earlier this year, but it looks like the Complete Edition would be the best way for new players to experience the game in its entirety. Of course, the irony of a second physical version of a game launching on PlayStation 5 after Sony announced plans to end physical game production is not lost on us.
The Alter Complete Edition arrives on PlayStation 5 on November 20th.
