Dino survival first-person shooter adventure, Ferocious will be getting a release on consoles. Lock and load!
Announced at today’s tinyBuild Connect Publisher Showcase 2026, developer OMYOG have confirmed that the dino-shooter, released on PC last year, will be jumping to PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. Today! That’s right the game will be made available at some point today, 14 September 2026, for both consoles.
Check out the announcement via the game’s launch trailer below:
In Ferocious, you find yourself stranded on a dangerous island, inhabited with mercernaries, a hostile environment and a whole load of dinosaurs! You will need to fight for your survival, adapt and overcome whatever gets thrown your way.
You will have to craft weapons and gear from what your recover as you explore. You might need to go off the beaten path to find secrets and essential gear. Also there’s mechs and stuff, so…you know!
The game released in December last year to some mixed reviews on Steam, but the developers have continued to patch the game to improve the experience. It’s another game that’s not been on my radar, but I really like the look of this one. I grew up on Turok so maybe first-person dino-shooting is in my DNA. Either way, I’m going to have a gander, I think.
