In case you missed it, it was Blizzcon over the weekend. Blizzcon is developer Blizzard’s large showcase featuring new reveals and updates to their existing live-service titles including Starcraft, World of Warcraft and more.
Alongside the surprise announcement of Diablo V – which you only have to wait until spring 2029 for – Blizzard have announced that Diablo IV and all its expansions will finally be coming to Switch 2. Launching as the Diablo IV: Age of Hatred Collection, the package will release on Nintendo’s hybrid console tomorrow, September 15, 2026.
The Age of Hatred Collection includes the 2023 original Diablo IV, as well as its two expansions: Vessel of Hatred, and the excellent Lord of Hatred expansion. The port should include all future content that is part of Diablo IV’s 10-year roadmap.
Mouse and Keyboard Support
The Switch 2 port will support keyboard and mouse support if plugged in via USB. Interestingly, the port will not offer Joy-Con 2 mouse support. However, the reason for this is likely due to the fact that playing with a Joy-Con 2 mouse without a keyboard would make for a poor gameplay experience.
Diablo IV Switch 2 Price and Physical Version
Diablo IV on Switch 2 will retail digitally for $69.99 USD / £62.99 / €69.99. There will be a ‘physical’ copy of the game available, however it will be sold as a code in a box.
