Street Fighter 6’s Arjun Gets A Gameplay Trailer Before Joining The Roster

Street Fighter 6 showed off the next character in its season 4 lineup. Arjun, who looks to be an interesting take on a tank-type character and also aura farms more than anyone else I’ve seen in this game so far.

His gameplay is interesting, to say the least. He appears to be a slow, heavy-hitting tank type, but he’s not as straightforward as Marisa. Similar to Cinder from Killer Instinct, Arjun has a skill where he doesn’t damage you directly, at least at first. Instead, he attacks your grey health (health that’s recoverable after being hit by certain things) and goes for big cash outs after.

Arjun has a ton of armor, like he straight up walks through multiple projectiles from Dhalsim, similar to how Zangief could in SFV. Unlike a lot of big body characters, Arjun also seems to have a decent pool of projectile attacks as well as a tackle that lets him close the gap pretty quickly. Arjun also can spawn a pillar onto the screen, which, similar to Aganos from Killer Instinct (someone must be a fan), turns into a weapon when he does his shoulder tackle.

Street Fighter 6 kicked off its 4th season with Yasmine, but many fans have felt underwhelmed by her as things have gone on, as her more creative stuff that was shown off before release can’t really be used much. Hopefully Arjun, as well as Tifa Lockhart and Bosch, who are coming later, won’t be the same case. A trailer for Arjun can be viewed here.

Arjun will be playable on October 13th 2026.
