We’ve all been there. We partied too hard and, well, someone accidentally gets killed in all the fun. Just me? I’ll see myself out. At the Future Games Show at Gamescom showcase, we got a new look at the upcoming title We Are So Cooked, which included a tentative release date!

We Are So Cooked is an upcoming co-op stealth game from the minds over at Dwarven Brothers. Publishing for this, well, absolutely silly game will be managed by 1312 Interactive. In a move that I absolutely love, this release date trailer takes place in the form of a commercial advertisement of a casino. You know, where you killed someone.

We Are So Cooked will be able to hold up to four players. Your goal – get that body out of the casino without drawing too much attention. You can imagine the chaos that will abound in such a title. The body itself will be heavy, floppy, and very difficult to handle. You know, much like dead weight would be. If you want to solo drag the body, good luck – you’ll leave a trail of blood. What if we use a few others to move our victim? Good luck…

And yes, if you were curious, those around you will not be OK with you moving a corpse through the casino. There will be screams. Screams will bring guards and security. Security has guns. You can imagine the rest. You’ll have to use your wits and the resources available in the casino to reach those fabled exit doors.

We Are So Cooked won’t just have one level. No no no! There will be various environments to worm your way out of. From crowded public spaces to high-security zones loaded with cameras, you’ll need to adapt and overcome if you want to escape the promise of imprisonment.

We Are So Cooked is slated to release to Steam on October 15th, 2026.
