Released on the 4th of August, Big Walk is the newest game from House House, developer of Untitled Goose Game, and publisher Panic. As the game’s title suggests it’s all about going on a Big Walk – preferably with friends in upto 12 player co-op. During your walk, you’ll solve puzzles, overcome challenges and have dance parties with your friends. The game saw a lot of hype prior to release, being revealed at The Game Awards 2023 and shown off again at Day of the Devs in 2025 as well as during the June 9th Nintendo Direct this year.
And it seems to have lived up to the hype, with Publisher Panic posting on BlueSky announcing the game has sold over one millions copies within its first week of release. A very impressive feat – even more impressive when you take into account that the game launched on as a free PS Plus title, and is currently only available on Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
In just six days, over one million of you have bought Big Walk, our co-op adventure all about talking and walking. We are so grateful that so many of you are spending time with our game. And we deeply appreciate your fanart, your streams, your stories, and your moments.Thank you for playing.

The thread goes on to thank all the people instrumental in making Big Walk a reality (there’s some fun names in the Playtesters section) and announces a Reddit AMA with the team at House House about the game. Boasting a 92 on Metacritic and Very Positive reviews on Steam it definitely seems like the team have a lot to be proud of.
House House are doing a reddit AMA tomorrow at 4pm PT / 7pm ET. Come learn more about the team and their games!www.reddit.com/r/gaming/com…
