ARC Raiders Launches October

One of the most anticipated multiplayer shooters finally has a release date. ARC Raiders, which originally debuted at The Game Awards in 2021 will release later this year.

The extraction shooter made by veterans of the shooting game industry including ex-EA and DICE developers will launch on October 30 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game will be skipping last-gen consoles.

At Summer Games Fest we got the latest trailer for ARC Raiders. The CGI trailer story related trailer gives us an insight to the lore of the multiplayer shooter. We get to see a range of characters, weapons and environments that we will get our hands on later this year.

The game recently had a big playtest which was incredibly well received by FPS fans and streamers. One of the biggest FPS YouTubers, Jackfrags famous for their Battlefield and Call of Duty content called the game “absolutely sublime“.

Being an extraction shooter, ARC Raiders is entering an already very busy market. Popular titles in the space include Escape from Tarkov, Hunt: Showdown and Marauders. The market will get even busier when Bungie’s Marathon launches on all platforms on September 23.
