It’s about to be a busy period for your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. The latest big screen release, Spider-Man Brand New Day releases into cinemas tomorrow (July 29). Meanwhile, the web-slinger is about to play a feature role in the Marvel: T?kon Fighting Souls which releases next week on PlayStation 5 and PC – in case you missed it, we went hands-on at Sony with Fighting Souls recently.
In celebration of the new releases, Insomniac have announced that new suits from Brand New Day and Fighting Souls will be coming to Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5 as part of the new v1.005.000 update. You can see the awesome T?kon suit in the article header, with the Brand New Day suit worn by Tom Holland in the latest Marvel blockbuster below:

A clip has already been shared to X (formerly Twitter) of the new suits in action:

Insomniac have also confirmed that the V1.005.000 update will also bring Enhanced PSSR on PS5 Pro, as well as a Power Saver Mode. The new update is entirely free and can be downloaded now on your PlayStation 5.
It’s great to see Insomniac continue to support their older title, whilst they’re hard at work on Wolverine which launches this September. Given the quality of their Spider-Man titles, many have high hopes for the game which stars the most iconic of the X-Men. Recently the Ain’t No Hero trailer shed more light on what’s to come from the game’s story and the ensemble who will join Logan.
