A few days after PlayStation suffered an outage with their online services it is now Xbox’s turn to deal with the same issue.

The issue began early in the morning here on the East coast as Xbox players started complaining of having issues getting online starting at about 1am EST.

By 5:30am Xbox support addressed the outage and said that they are aware and working on the outage.

The last update we have received was shortly before 8am with another post stating:

“Just checking in on the game library, sign-in, and game launch issue. We know this has been going on a while and appreciate your patience while our teams keep working on it. Watch here or at support.xbox.com for updates.”

As always this outage isn’t affecting everyone and if you are online right now you are probably safe if you keep your Xbox on. I know when the issue started lastnight I was already online and had no issues.
