Last week we brought you the list of new games coming to Game Pass in the first half of July 2026. The list includes Game Pass Day One roguelike title, Ascend to Zero, PBA Pro Bowling 2026 and Gears of War: Reloaded for Game Pass Premium members.
In a peculiar turn of events, XBOX have announced that one of the games scheduled to join the service for Premium, Ultimate and PC Game Pass members will no longer be joining the service, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.
Originally scheduled to arrive on July 21, 2020’s remake of THPS 1+2 has been pulled with no explanation. The official XBOX Wire post now includes an editors note stating: “We’ve removed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 from the list of titles coming soon to Game Pass.” The post also now features an updated graphic of the games coming for the rest of July:

It appears all the more bizarre that Microsoft / XBOX now own the IP, something they didn’t when the game originally released. Given the volume of licensed music, skater attire and other items in the game, it is likely that licensing-related issues have caused the cancellation.
Fortunately, if you’re still looking for a skateboarding fix, its successor, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remains in the service. It’s available on XBOX One, Series X|S, Handheld (ROG XBOX Ally) and PC. As we said in our review last year, it’s an excellent nostalgia trip for those who played the hell out of the originals during the PlayStation 2 era.
The biggest title of July 2026 for Game Pass is Halo: Campaign Evolved which launches into the service on July 28, 2026. Gamer Social Club will bring you our full review on July 23, 2026 as early access opens for Premium and Collector’s Edition owners.
