Grab your shotguns and prepare to cause carnage in an abandoned 1950s amusement resort, as Twisted Tower’s release date has been confirmed.
Coming from Thomas Brush, indie developer at Atmos Games, the creator of Pinstripe and Neversong, Twisted Tower sees you taking on waves of corrupted mascots as you ascend to the top of the tower to save the love of your life.
Twisted Tower releases on PC on 18 August 2026, just in time for the spooky season to begin! You can check out the latest trailer which announces the release date, below:
With plenty of Bioshock-y vibes, Twisted Tower takes place across five different locales of the abandoned 50’s resort, including: the hotel, the waterpark, the clown casino (?!), the carnival forest, and the space station.
The game promises a “mysterious and emotional story” with a variety of unique options for multiple playthroughs. You’ll of course have a range of weapons to take on these contorted fairy-tale like mascots, all with a toy-ish flare. These includes a rubber-band pistol, a Tommy Gun that throws darts, a fartin’ shotgun and much more. There’ll also be various equipment items to grab that will help you ascend the tower.

Twisted Tower looks totally up my street, massive Bioshock fan and this game looks to scratch a itch in that regard until the long awaited Bioshock 4 decides to re-materialise.
What do you reckon? Will you be giving Twisted Tower a go when it releases next month?
