D-Topia – Furniture Master Trophy Guide

D-Topia is a narrative-driven puzzle game set in the future. A future where happiness is the key in Utopia Project, and the best way to attain this is to cater to the majority. D-topia is also meant to be a game of choices. One that will impact the lives of its inhabitants (as well as the goodies we receive along the way). But what kind of Utopia could a place be if it can’t give happiness to all? This guide assumes that we are striving for the happiness of others as long as no one gets hurt, even if it means bending the rules of the AI. What gives us happiness is different because humans are unique (and also, it seems happiness is also missable!)

One such thing that gives us happiness is collecting and making our home a place that’s pleasing to us. In order to do that, we need to decorate!

Here is our guide to all 28 Interior Decorations in D-topic, as well as earning you the Furniture Master trophy.

There are 28 total Interior Decorations to be collected in D-Topia. 16 of these are purchased directly from the Central Hall’s shop, 1 is easily missable right at the beginning of the game, and the rest are story or are gifted to you by the residents. Since most of these items are bought, and there is a finite amount of money you can earn, it is important not to spend too much. You will need a total of 28,400 to purchase it all. It’s very easy not to have enough, especially if you buy too many sodas or canned cat food. You’ll have enough money to buy one of everything, at least once, as well as enough for any cat food the cat could want, but not any more.

It’s also important to note that visiting all available areas and talking to named NPCs every chapter is important, as they progress your relationship with them, and in turn give you the potential for gifts. This can be done easily by looking at your menu. It has a map that will show you icons of where they all are.

Every time you enter an area, look at the map to see all the different activities or NPCs to be found there so you don’t miss a thing.

Prologue

There is one interior design as soon as you start the game. It’s very easy to miss it if you don’t interact with the shop. You cannot go back to the Arrival Gate after this prologue and will need to start a new save in order to get it.

Chapter 1

You’ll receive two interior designs in Chapter 1. One is a welcome home gift, and the other is for helping Tot with his problem in the Central Hall Troid shop.

In the Troid Shop, you’ll also be able to purchase eight interior decorations from the White Troid. To purchase them all, you’ll need a total of 10,000, which you should have by the end of Chapter 3.

Chapter 2

In this chapter, Shiro will be introduced to a suspicious blue demon that is causing problems all over D-topia. Turns out, it’s just a cat! We’ll be given two furnishings for our home by Heine at the end of this chapter if you choose to save the cat.

Chapter 3

Early into the chapter, you’ll stumble upon Poppy and his interaction with some other kids. Visit him after in the Garden Cafe, and he’ll give you his books to borrow.

By the end of this chapter, you should have earned enough (10,200) to purchase everything in the White Troid Shop.

Chapter 4

This is the earliest moment when you’ll have access to the Black Troid shop. After your shift in the Factory, the Troid will let you know that you are now Resident Rank 3, which is required to purchase from the Black Troid. Making a purchase will also reward you with the Lover of Luxury trophy.

Chapter 5

There’s no shift at the Factory today. However, by ensuring you’ve rescued all residents that you can, as well as troubleshooting some troids and mechanical issues, you will later be rewarded with money.

One of the residents you’ll need to rescue is Eebie, who will later reward you with a Custom Minibike interior decoration right before you head back to your home.

Chapter 6

Final work day of the week, as well as the final time (except for No.47) to create relationships in the Virtual Tea Room, as well as collect some final gifts from the bonds you’ve fostered. Make your rounds and speak to everyone.

Also, this is the last opportunity for you to gain any money. Which means that if you can’t afford everything in the Black Troid Shop yet by this point, then unfortunately, you’ve missed out on the trophy.

Chapter 7

Large Succulents – Story – This can be picked up from the Alpha Troid in the Stockyards. Be warned, picking this up will end the game, so ensure to leave this as the last thing you do in the game.
