Its only 10 days to go until the early access release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, for Premium and Collectors Edition owners. The re-re-release of XBOX’s most iconic game, Halo: Combat Evolved is an Unreal Engine ground-up remake with new quality of life features, 4 player co-operative for the first time, and most excitingly a handful of new prequel missions.
With plenty of time to spare – indicating a promising launch state for the game – Halo Studios have gone confirmed that the game has ‘gone gold’. Translating for non-gamers, this means ‘game complete and launch ready’.
It would appear that Collectors Editions of the game have started to make their way into players hands with several posts appearing on X (formerly Twitter). If you’re trying to avoid any spoilers, particularly for the brand new prequel content, you might want to mute ‘Halo’ on X:
