Are You A Developer? Achievement Guide

The Are You A Developer? achievement is unlocked by restoring the scene in the editor in fewer than 5 attempts. You reach this sequence towards the end of Chapter 4, Proto Erectus, when the camera pulls out so you are looking at a PC monitor with editing software open on it.

There are four elements you need to get right before stretching the “Play” button on the top of the screen: the lighting, background colour, camera height, and character positioning.

For the background colour, you want to stretch the colour wheel on the left side until it lands on the mint green/teal/cyan/I don’t know colour. It has the colour code #07FF8F on the right-hand side panel.

For the lighting, you want to stretch the Sun icon until the lighting is pointed directly at the backdrop. You can tell it is in the right place when you can see the shadow of the Sherlock-o-Mobile cast on the stage behind it.

To position each character on stage, you need to slingshot them up to their spots by stratching their icon on the asset bar down and letting go. Certain characters need a boost, hence thee options of a box, a wooden crate, a barrel, and a side table. If someone or something lands in the wrong spot, you can pop them out by stretching their asset on stage, placing it back at the far right of the asset bar (handy if you are having trouble getting a clear shot to the right poition).

The correct lineup is what is shown in the below image, with the barrel under placeholder Watson, the small box under Emmett, and the wooden crate under regular Watson.

Lastly, the camera needs to be moved up one spot by stretching the camera logo down.

Once everything is in place, stretch the “Play” button at the top of the window to play the scene. If you have done everything correctly, the four icons for the four requirements will receive green ticks and the game progresses, unlocking the Are You A Developer? achievement.
