Shape-Shifting Puzzle Game Mimic Meadows Announced For PC

Among the many mind-melting puzzle games shown off during the Thinky Direct 2026, Mimic Meadows was one of the strangest, and it’s heading to PC.

Check out the Mimic Meadows reveal trailer below.

Developed and published by a three-person team, with the game & code by sourencho, art by Eron Hare, and music by lookaside, Mimic Meadows is an eccentric 2D pixel art puzzle game where you play as a little pink alien with the ability to transform into different flora and fauna. To do so, copy their movement on a grid-based map and take on their form, unlocking unique abilities.

“Solve mind-bending puzzles by pushing this power to its wacky limits, and dig deeper to uncover the many secrets of the meadows.”

Mimic Meadows key features:

  • Five distinct biomes, each containing unique animals and dozens of hand-crafted puzzles.
  • No fluff! Each level explores something new or a fresh combination of existing ideas.
  • Optional challenge puzzles and hidden secrets for those eager to dive deeper.

With its detailed pixel art environments, bold sprites, and “mimic-to-transform” mechanic, Mimic Meadows looks like it’s making all the right moves.

Mimic Meadows is coming to PC, with a demo available now on PC via Steam.
