If you could imagine one profession that the world definitely, without a doubt, 100% needs, it’s a dentist for sharks, right? I couldn’t agree more!

Shown at the Future Games Show today, Shark Dentist has finally got another gameplay trailer, and boy, is it as terrifying as it sounds. Watch it below if you dare.

Jokes aside, Shark Dentist is perhaps one of the weirdest game ideas that has ever made it past the drawing board. I mean, let’s be blunt with each other, there aren’t many people out in the world that are willing to stick their hands in the mouth of a killing machine that is older than the dinosaurs. Even as someone who grew up on the beach where sharks were just another part of life, the idea of sticking my hands anywhere near their mouths sounds like a special kind of nightmare. Yet, for those willing to tackle the least desirable job in the world, this looks like the game for you!

Shark Dentist is a unique horror roguelike where you play as a shark dentist. Your task is to treat the teeth of giant predators in a dark clinic while avoiding their deadly aggression. Balance tactics, luck, and limited resources to heal your patient without losing your own life.

With no release date in sight, it appears those willing to dive into the profession will have to wait a bit longer. If you’re interested in following its development cycle, make sure to follow their Steam page, as it looks like it is updated fairly regularly.
