During the Future Game Show Summer Showcase 2026, we got the announcement that the co-op cinematic platformer Little Nightmares III is getting DLC, and it arrives next week.

The Bavkstage DLC returns to the twisted Carnvale, or more specifically, the darkest part of it, introducing a new character, new mechanics, and new horrors to evade.
“In this adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.”
It looks like Supermassive Games has taken the feedback from the base game on board, and are attempting to bring something new and uniquely theirs to the beloved horror series with the torch mechanic.
The Deluxe Edition of the game gives access to Little Nightmares III – The Backstage, as well as additional content to be released later this year. The two DLCs are part of the “Secrets of the Spiral” Expansion Pass.
Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC releases on July 12th across PlayStation 4 & 5, XBOX One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch & Switch, and PC via Steam. A demo for Little Nightmares III is available, which we highlighted in a back issue of the GSC Demo Disc.
