The Black Flag Overload: Another Deep Dive
It’s a good thing Black Flag is my favorite Assassin’s Creed ever or we would be in trouble. Guess what – there was yet another trailer shown at the Future Games Fest. Are you tired of hearing about this game yet? Surprisingly I’m not. If you are well…… you’re in the wrong place.
The main thing this trailer seems intent on selling us at this point is that they have put in a conscious effort to keep the game as close to the original as possible without sacrificing too much of what made the original so great. If anything, Ubisoft is showing a level of restraint that I have never seen from them before. They seem intent on keeping the charm of the original without making it feel too much like a modern Assassin’s Creed game. If you’re itching for more Black Flag Resynced content look no further then this new trailer shown at the Future Games Show.
Strike fear in your foes as you board and sink enemy vessels as Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw. Whether blending into crowds or leading daring assaults, switch between silent takedowns and fierce brawls as you effortlessly wield swords, pistols, and the Hidden Blade. With a cast of historical pirate legends at your side, defy empires amidst the age-old conflict opposing Assassins and Templars.

More Behind Resynced’s Launch
Combat has been rebuilt for more dynamic encounters, emphasizing parries and takedowns, while stealth and parkour have been improved for smoother escapes and assassinations. Continuously upgrade the Jackdaw to face powerful enemy ships with enhanced naval mechanics featuring new alternate fire modes. Quality-of-life additions also address previous pain points, ensuring your experience is improved.
Building on top of the original story, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced introduces exclusive new content. Familiar faces will return, with new storylines dedicated to fan-favorite characters such as Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet. Unexpected allies will also cross your path, as three officers join you on your journey. More surprises await such as new sea shanties, pets, a photo mode, and more.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is set to release on July 9th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
