Not long after the game’s initial reveal back in April of this year, Moonbrella featured during the ID@XBOX Indie Selects Demo Fest, announcing that a demo for the game is available on PC via Steam and XBOX platforms as of today.
Check out the demo trailer for Moonbrella below.

With a strong focus on speedrunning, multiple ways to overcome challenges, and unconventional controls, Moonbrella offers both new and seasoned players a challenging and rewarding experience.
Moonbrella Key Features:
- Expressive movement designed with speedrunning in mind.
- Multiple ways to approach platforming challenges.
- Find replacement parts for your umbrella to unlock new movement options and locations.
- Explore a planet abandoned by humans as a lone robot left behind.
- Journey through dark caves, ancient structures, an active volcano, and more.
- Revive a dying sunflower trapped in the moon’s shadow.
- Find and collect a variety of flowers and gemstones throughout the world.

“I’ve watched hundreds of people play the demo at events, and after 18 months of refining, it’s finally ready to ship,” shared lead developer Jett Williams. “I’m both nervous and excited for the public to play it.”
Moonbrella is slated to launch on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX One, and XBOX Series X|S. The demo is available on PC via Steam and XBOX consoles.
