That is correct! Our favorite “world’s greatest detective” is coming…to the smaller screen! Of Nintendo’s Switch 2, in fact! LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is slated for a release to the Switch 2…in the very near future!
Today, Nintendo dropped their pre-order trailer for the recently released LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. For the newly acquainted, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight provides run the gamut of our favorite Batman story lines. And doing so in the typical slapstick humor we’ve come to love from the LEGO games. From taking down Red Hood One, to tangling with Mayor Oswald Cobblepot, the story will bring up all of the old Bruce Wayne classics.
GSC’s Review of Lego Batman
We here at GSC make every effort to ensure that we cover as many games as humanly possible. And you can bet your bottom dollar that we covered LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Daire Behan gave the title a respectable 8 out of 10!
“LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight creates a clever throughline between the imagination of the brick-building video games and the mechanical genius of Rocksteady’s Arkham series, resulting in the strongest LEGO game yet. Full of endearment to its source material and approachable for audiences of almost all ages, regardless of whether your childhood Batman was Adam West or Robert Pattinson. It may not be quite the hardcore video game comeback we wanted from the Dark Knight, but it’s a surprising win nonetheless.” – Daire Behan

I have also been dabbling in this title and have loved every minute of it! While it pokes fun of its source material, it is done so out of so much love.
But What About the Switch 2 Launch??
Right! So, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be coming to the Switch 2 on September 18th, 2026. And it’s available for pre-order now!
